Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center (FVRH) Pediatric unit and Hyundai Motor America, will unveil the new "Pediatric and Teen Playrooms" at an open-house ceremony and reception at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2003.

The ceremony and unveiling will take place in the new Pediatric Playroom located in the Women and Children's area of the Hospital. Representatives from Hyundai, in conjunction with several physicians and hospital staff, will be present for the open house. Fountain Valley Regional Hospital President and CEO Tim Smith and Dr. Ken Kim, Pediatric Intensivist specialist will speak at the presentation.

"We are extremely pleased that Hyundai has chosen Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center as one of the hospitals in California to whom they made a charitable gift," said Dr Zacharia Reda. "Renovation of the Children's playroom will help Fountain Valley Regional Hospital continues to meet the health care needs of our pediatric patients in a nurturing and supportive environment."
