We're Here to Help! Congratulations...A new baby is a joyous addition to your life, but no doubt you have many questions and concerns, particularly about your baby's good health. What you need is a health care partner who will help you access the information, health and community resources you need to provide your child with aspects of pediatric care, now and in the future. That's why Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center is participating in the Bridges For Newborns program, one of four Early Action programs developed by the Children and Families Commission to improve the health and welfare of Children in Orange County. What are the benefits? Through the Bridges for Newborns program, we can assist your family in a variety of ways. - We can help identify health insurance coverage options for your newborn, as well as pediatricians and other community resources to provide the care.
- Follow-up with your family to help ensure that well-baby check-ups and immunizations are completed in the early months, and that your are linked to on-going primary care.
- Assess your situation and identify community resource referrals you might need.
What are some of the resource referrals available to me through the program? Our goal is to help you provide your baby with quality medical care and a healthy start on life. Some of the resources we can help you access may include: - Daycare
