Our Volunteer Program at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center has provided ongoing assistance and support to our patients, medical staff and community for over 35 years.  Our volunteers are a dynamic group of people, who bring us their dedication, time and their hearts.  

Volunteer Opportunities:

The success of our volunteer program is dependent upon teamwork, which is developed through the positive relationships established within the program. Together we will continue to build an outreach for the patients, staff and community. Volunteer assignments are determined by individual interest, availability and department need.

Volunteer Requirements:

• Must be at least 14 years of age (see below for Jr. Volunteers)
• Submit a completed application
• Complete a Personal Interview
• Undergo Background Screening Clearance
• Pass a Medical Health Screening
• Attend a Hospital Orientation

Junior Volunteer Program:

Our Juniors are an elite group of 30 high school students who are selected to represent the youth of our community through their values, enthusiasm and genuine interest to help others.  This opportunity is open to all students ages 14-17 years of age.  Application packets are available annually the first week of May.  Our Juniors are obligated to volunteer from September-June with a monthly requirement of eight hours.
