We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies
such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.
We are working to have the website conform to the relevant standards of the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board, as
well as the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These standards and guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. We believe that conformance with these standards and
guidelines will help make the website more user friendly for all people.
Our efforts are ongoing. While we strive to have the website adhere to these guidelines and standards, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website.
If, at any time, you have specific questions or concerns about the accessibility of any particular webpage, please contact WebsiteAccess@tenethealth.com so that we may be of assistance.
If you are looking to help others and serve your community, volunteering at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center can fulfill your desire to lend a hand to someone during their hospital stay. The Volunteer Program at Fountain Valley Regional
Hospital and Medical Center has provided ongoing assistance and support to our patients, medical staff, and community for over 45 years. Our volunteers are a dynamic group of driven individuals who bring us their dedication, time, and heart. Our volunteers
come from a variety of ages and backgrounds with the common desire to provide a valuable service to the community by improving the patient experience in a compassionate manner.
The success of our volunteers is dependent upon teamwork, which is developed through the positive relationships established within the program. Together we support the patients, staff, and community. Assignments are determined by the Hospital Volunteer
Program, individual interest, availability, and department needs.
Volunteering opportunities may include:

Adult and College Student Volunteer Program
Our adult and college student volunteers strive to help patients and guests feel comfortable and welcome in the hospital. Volunteers benefit from the satisfaction of knowing they are serving their community while learning new skills and making friends.
Past hospital or healthcare experience is not necessary. Volunteers are involved throughout the hospital in a variety of capacities. Shifts are available from early morning to late afternoon/evening. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
To apply for the Adult and College Student Volunteer Program, please complete the online application which can be found at the bottom of this page.
Please note: We interview potential adult and college volunteers on a monthly basis. Once we receive your application, we will contact you by email to schedule an appointment during the next available interview cycle.
