Fountain Valley Regional Hospital Names Paulette Heitmeyer Chief Nursing Officer

Fountain Valley, Calif. – Fountain Valley Regional Hospital has appointed Paulette Heitmeyer as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), effective immediately.
As CNO, Heitmeyer will oversee all nursing units, nursing supervisors, and the quality and infection control departments.

Paulette began her nursing career in orthopedics and has held several leadership roles with increased responsibility at various hospitals across Los Angeles and Orange Counties. She has a proven track record in developing strong teams that drive superior patient care and service excellence and is highly skilled in change management and compassionate care.
Since 2019 she has served as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations and Interim Chief Nursing Officer at Watsonville Community Hospital. Prior to Watsonville, Paulette served as Chief Nursing Officer at PIH Health Hospital-Whittier and as Administrator, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer at Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey Hospital.
Paulette earned her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Phoenix and her Associates of Science degree in Registered Nursing from El Camino College in Torrance.
